Derrick Rose Return Fuels Bulls To Stay Unbeaten in Pre Season -- Do They Have The Chance To Win It All?

The Chicago Bulls defeated the Indiana Pacers in the pre-season games and remain undefeated while enjoying the much anticipated Derrick Rose return.

It was no ordinary pre-season match as both teams played in their starters and battled it out till the final buzzer sounded. The Bulls splurged with a second half comeback against the Pacers where the former MVP exploded with 32 points and nine assists in 31 minutes.

"We talked about increasing Derrick's minutes some and it's just the way it unfolded," Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said. "We wanted to get them up about four or five minutes."

Pacers coach Frank Vogel said that whatever contest it is they make sure that they win every ball game.

"Just another pre-season game, right? Right? That's what it felt like to you guys? No matter who we're playing, final four [preseason] games, that's what we do. We go with a semi-normal rotation. We don't play starters starter's minutes, balance the minutes out. But going into the fourth quarter, going for the win." He told reporters.

Taj Gibson who started the game in replacement of injured Center Joakim Noah told the media that it was a physical game and it really didn't feel like a pre-season game.

"Both teams were going at it. We didn't care if it was preseason. The way the trash talking was out there, it was crazy! Cheap shots, trash talking. It was unbelievable tonight and how intense it was? I forgot it was a preseason game." Gibson added, "Derrick was hot. The second unit did a good job. Our rooks are learning fast, Marquis is playing phenomenal. We've got our closer back, Derrick, and it was great."

With the return of their superstar and a healthy looking line up come regular season, the Bulls look to start the upcoming NBA tournament with a bang and are hopeful to finish it on a high note.
