Finally!

Big Bang's Taeyang has released a teaser image for his long-awaited comeback and fans couldn't be happier.

It has been over three long years since the R&B vocalist released an album, and while there has been talk of a new release for well over a year now, it is finally happening.

On October 20, Taeyang's agency YG Entertainment posted a black and white teaser image to their official blog that shows the idol with his face half-hidden in a cloud of swirling smoke.

There is some sort of ancient looking script scrawled across his forehead that reads "Rise" as he tilts his head downward with his eyes closed - perhaps suggesting that 'the sun shall soon rise.'

The only information contained within the image are the words "coming soon" across the top.

The mysterious imagery carries with it a rather dark and intriguing mood that is reminiscent of his single "I'll Be There" from his previously released album Solar.
