Cameron Diaz Has Sex With A Car In ‘The Counselor’; Michael Fassbender Gave An Instant ‘Yes’ To Director Ridley Scott

"The Counselor" is a new film directed by Ridley Scott. It boasts of a stellar cast composed of Cameron Diaz, Michael Fassbender, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem.

The script was written by Cormac Mc Catrhy of "No Country for Old Men" fame.

With such a stellar cast and its release late in the year, it seems like a usual suspect for Awards buzz. However, most critics have "The Counselor" overwhelmed by stiff competition.

Michael Fassbender narrates his excitement on receiving the script. From Entertainment Weekly, Fassbender narrates:

''I read it and immediately called Ridley and told him I was in,'' says the actor, who plays a lawyer drawn into a drug-running operation with some very shady individuals. ''He's the passenger. He's our ticket into this world, and we're introduced to all the various characters through him, from his fiancée right down to the ne'er-do-wells. There's a tackiness to him. And he's got a bit of a crazy look, but that doesn't mean he's harmless.''

There's a more controversial scene in the movie. Cameron Diaz has a sex scene involving a car! The scene is narrated in detail in Buzzfeed:

"As Malkina, Diaz is part cat, part alligator. Her haircut is asymmetrical and two-toned, and her motives are similarly skewed. Her boyfriend, Reiner (Javier Bardem), is hopeless around her; he's her pawn, and is both mystified by and frightened of her. Diaz has never played a character like Malkina - and a character like Malkina has actually never before existed!

The act itself (which plays out in flashback outrageously, but also somehow discreetly), but for Reiner's narration of the events to Fassbender's character (known as the Counselor). It's eloquent, funny, and random as hell - McCarthy's doing, I imagine, and delivered by Bardem with deadpan hilariousness."

The Counselor will be released October 25.
