Will Tim Tebow Throw for the Rams? St. Louis Discuss Trade

Tim Tebow Going to St. Louis? Rams Discuss Trade

Tim Tebow is being talked about in St. Louis. The Rams have been discussing adding Tim Tebow to the roster.

According to published reports, the St. Louis Rams “have discussed signing Tim Tebow,” after news that starting quarterback Sam Bradford suffered a potentially serious knee injury.

A source from the Rams told columnist Michael Silver of NFL Media that St. Louis has talkabout signing Tim Tebow. Silver later tweeted “I believe it’s unlikely they’ll actually sign him.”

The St. Louis Rams need a quarterback. On Sunday night, two sources at the organization told NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport that Sam Bradford tore his ACL after the Rams lost in Carolina.

Sam Bradford would probably be out for the rest of the season is he has an injury. NFL media reported that St. Louis will be working out a few quarterbacks today.

Tim Tebow isn’t a new name being thrown around by the rams. Before Tebow was traded to the New York Jets from the Denver Broncos, The Rams were one of the teams asking about the quarterback.

The only quarterback The Rams have on their lineup is Kellen Clemens. Kellen Clemens replaced Bradford on Sunday in a 30-15 loss to Carolina; Clemens finished 2-of-4 for 19 yards. St. Louis needs to add another quarterback, but unless Tim Tebow gets a chance to get to play it is unlikely they will make a deal with the New York Jets. Tebow hasn’t been on the field since Week 16 last season as a member of the New York Jets. Tebow was released by New York Jets in April. He signed with the Patriots later but didn’t catch on.
