TMZ reported that actress Kristen Bell and long-time boyfriend Dax Sheperd had tied the knot unexpectedly. The couple were at the Beverly Hills County Clerk Office just to get their license to marry. A court employee then came to offer Bell and Shepard to marry them impromptu to which they concurred. Four of them, Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard, the court employee, and a photographer proceeded to a nearby courtroom. Kristen Bell was reported to have cried out of overwhelming joy after the wedding rites were executed, and officially declaring them as husband and wife.

Though it was not originally planned, it may appear that the couple had secretly tied the known as reported by many. Earlier Kristen Bell tweeted a "wife" comment which says, "Wifee coffee tastes way better than regular coffee in the morning :) @daxshepard1." 

The tweet further fueled speculations that the couple have indeed married secretly (rather impulsively) last 16th of October, Thursday.

The couple started dating way back in 2007. Kristen Bell proposed via twitter in 2010,  "@daxshpeard1 will you marry me? Xo #marriageequality #love is love.", when the U.S Supreme Court declared the Dfense of Marriage Act unconstitutional last June this year.. Unexpectedly in support of gay rights, the couple suspended their wedding plans until their state of residence (California) legalizes same-sex marriage. Dax Shepard responded positively as an acknowledgement and acceptance of Kristen Bell's proposal.

The couple has been living together as a family even before their marriage, they welcomed son Lincoln Bell Shepard last March.

Kristen Bell is most notable for her hit TV series Veronica Mars and most recently as the voice of Gossip Girl during its entire 5 season run.
