"Fifty Shades of Grey" movie has dealt with quite a blow, since Charlie Hunnam dropped out as Christian Grey. Will the lack of a solid cast cause the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie to be postponed?

The confirmed release date for the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie is August 1, 2014. However, now that Charlie Hunnam has quit "Fifty Shades of Grey," the premiere date of the movie is looming without a confirmed lead for the film and a solid cast.

Does this mean the movie will be postponed?

According to a report from the Hollywood Reporter Saturday, "Fifty Shades of Grey" was originally scheduled to begin filming in Vancouver on Nov. 1st, after Hunnam wrapped up production on season six of his FX series, "Sons of Anarchy," IB Times reports.

The studio has yet to comment on whether the film will be pushed back due to changes in the cast.

Universal Pictures has yet to announce who will replace the "Sons of Anarchy" TV actor. Without an actor to play Christian Grey, it is unlikely that filming will begin anytime soon. However, the internet has been abuzz with six actors rumored to be leading contenders for the role of Christian Grey, including "Once Upon a Time" star Jamie Dornan and French Canadian "The Borgias" actor François Arnaud, IB Times reports.

But the cast isn't the only issue that "Fifty Shades of Grey" is facing.

With less than one month left before filming is scheduled to begin on the movie, the Hollywood Reporter confirmed Monday that Universal Pictures hired a new writer to revise the script. Playwright Patrick Marber was allegedly hired to "polish" the script and for "character work."

The dialogue was called sexually "intense" by actress Chloe Bridges, IB Times reports.

However, despite rumors that one of Hunnam's reasons for leaving "Fifty Shades of Grey" was due to creative differences regarding the script, sources told THR that hiring a writer to polish a script is not unusual in Hollywood.
