Corey Feldman and Michael Jackson Had a Falling Out, But It Was Still Feldman’s Healthiest Relationship; New Memoir Details Abuse

Corey Feldman says Michael Jackson was his healthiest relationship in a new memoir.

Corey Feldman went to Michael Jackson's Neverland to get away from the pain of early stardom.

In a tell-all autobiography, former child star Corey Feldman opens up about his troubled past. "Coreyography" details the sexual abuse he experienced. He also dishes on his friendship with another drug addicted teen star, the late actor Corey Haim.

Corey Feldman says infamous relationship with Michael Jackson was the "healthiest" in his life. He write, "I was shattered, disgusted, devastated. I needed some normalcy in my life. So, I called Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson's world, crazy as it sounds, had become my happy place. Being with Michael brought me back to my innocence. When I was with Michael, it was like being 10 years old again."

Corey Feldman says there was nothing inappropriate about his friendship with Michael Jackson and reveals the King of Pop's lighter side. Feldman say Jackson would often do "an imitation of what sounded like an uptight, conservative Caucasian, not unlike [when] Dave Chappelle . . . pretends to be white."

Corey Feldman, who starred in such films as "The Lost Boys" and "Stand by Me," says he and Michael Jackson bonded over their bad relationships with their fathers. Corey Feldman says Michael Jackson was "still absolutely terrified of his father" even after he'd grown up.

Corey Feldman and Michael Jackson had a falling out in 2001, but Feldman says "People always ask me about life after childhood stardom. What would I say to parents of children in the industry? My only advice, honestly, is to get these kids out of Hollywood and let them lead normal lives."

Corey Feldman's new memoir, "Coreyography," tells about his Hollywood life filled with sex, drugs and loneliness.

While making movies like "Gremlins" and "The Goonies," Corey Feldman had no parental guidance or support. Corey's mother was a former Playboy model who suffered from depression and drug problems. Corey says she tortured her son about his weight, even forcing him to take diet pills. Corey Feldman's father was a musician got high with his teen star son.

Corey Feldman was the main breadwinner in his family by the time he was 7. He was a successful commercial actor. Corey's mother didn't let him ride a bike, because an injury would sideline him from work. When Corey Feldman was fired from a movie and labeled a brat, his mother chased after him with a stick, cursing at him.

Corey Feldman remembers "She's bent at the waist, ramming the pole under the cotton eyelet dust ruffle . . . jabbing at my ribs, my arms, my face. My skin is raw and bleeding. I think that, maybe, she is serious. She really does want to kill me."

Corey Feldman's father hired an assistant that Feldman calls "Ron." Ron became Feldman's drug supplier and ultimately coerced Corey into having sex.  Feldman says he was "petrified," and "revolted" the first time Ron abused him, but the relationship went on for years.

Ron wasn't the only pedophile Feldman ran into. He write "Slowly, over a period of many years. I would begin to realize that many of the people I had surrounded myself with were monsters."

The only person Feldman had a normal relationship with was Michael Jackson. Corey Feldman says Michael Jackson never tried to do anything with him sexually. When Jackson heard that Feldman was going to trash him in a tell-all book, Corey Feldman and Michael Jackson had a falling out and they never spoke again.
