Samsung Galaxy Note 4 rumors are already buzzing in the tech rumor mill as the next gen phablet is expected to now be the tech giant’s focus for a release now that the Note 3 is in the market. Early reports indicate that next year’s model will have a camera 8x brighter than the Note 3, with the ability to take exceptional images even at low-light conditions.

An “anti-shake” feature is expected from this device aside from its capability of taking great snapshots in low light, Phone Arena reports. Through the “anti-shake” feature, pictures and videos will be viewed as if a tripod was used in taking them.

It is pretty much impressive in the sense that its new camera sensor is eight times brighter compared to what Samsung currently employed. While current digital cameras is only capable of fixing errors of up to 0.7°, this new device with anti-shake features is made to correct an angular error of up to 1.5°.

Many are expecting that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Samsung Galaxy S5 will bear the new camera sensor by Samsung. There are some speculations that Samsung will be unveiling the S5 at the upcoming Mobile World Congress sometime next year.

If the rumors are true, it’s consistent with the report that the new camera sensors for Samsung devices will begin production early next year. Many tech watchers have noted that a key differentiator for today’s smartphones is its camera.

Nokia, the newly acquired handset brand by Microsoft, released the Nokia Lumia 1020 with its 41MP camera sensor. The Windows-powered handset has the most powerful camera spec amongst all handsets, beating out every major brand in this feature including Apple’s iPhone (8MP) and Samsung Galaxy S4 (13MP).
