A fight broke out in New Jersey's MetLife Stadium on Sunday. After the New York Jets' unexpected upset over the New England Patriots, a brawl broke out.

Beer-throwing and the scuffle colored the aftermath of the game. Watch the fight on video below (scroll down).

A woman wearing Patriots colors grabbed a male Jets fan wearing a No. 60 Wayne Chrebet jersey. The man's response? Punch her in the face, of course.

A bystander named Rob filmed the fight, which you can watch on video below.

"Fight started in the stands with two girls fighting," he explained. "And moved out to where I shot the video. Beer was thrown and clothing over the balcony. Security went after the guy. Didn't see what happened after that."

A rep for the Jets said that that state police are investigating the incident.

The New York Daily News has supposedly identified the Jets fan as a 36-year-old Long Island bartender.

"He's the victim, really," his mother told the Daily News. "He was just concerned for his mother and himself."

"He was just hitting back to defend himself," she added. "It wasn't done deliberately. If you see the video, they just went wild."
