Colleen Ritzer Teacher Murder Rocks Town Of Danvers, 14 Year Old Suspect In Custody [VIDEO]; Puzzled Peers Say Suspect "Wasn't Aggressive At All"; Town Mourns "Nicest Teacher Anyone Could Have"

Colleen Ritzer teacher murder: Colleen Ritzer, a math teacher at Danvers High School in Danvers, Massachusetts, was murdered Tuesday night, and a 14 year old student is the alleged killer.


Authorities began looking for Ritzer when she was reported missing Tuesday night.  After finding blood in a second floor bathroom at Danvers High School, police discovered the horrific scene of Colleen Ritzer's murder.  Ritzer died from multiple stab wounds.


The crime of Colleen Ritzer's murder has rocked the town of Danvers, and students are grieving her loss.  Students were shocked and puzzled that a peer was the alleged murder suspect.


Ryan Kelleher, a student at Danvers High school who took Colleen Ritzer's algebra class last year, said that the crime "just doesn't add up": "From what I know about him and seeing him every day, it just doesn't add up that he would do such a thing, unless this was all an act to fool somebody."


Kelleher said of teacher Colleen Ritzer that she "just loved to come to school and just teach and teach students and help them succeed."

Chris Weimert took Colleen Ritzer's geometry class, and said "She was the nicest teacher anyone could ever have. She always had a warm smile on her face."


Weimert said that he knew the suspect from around school, and he "seemed like a good kid." 


Kyle Cahill was on the soccer team with the alleged killer, and said he was a top goal scorer for junior varsity.  According to Cahill,  "He wasn't violent at all. He was really the opposite of aggressive."


"We're all just a family. It just amazes me really.  I'm just stunned."


The identity of the murder suspect has not been released due to his age.  He faces arraignment Wednesday.
