Singer IU revealed why she wears red shoes on stage even though her song title is "Pink Shoes."

Today, SBS MTV "The Show, All About K-Pop" broadcasted IU's "The Show Talk" interview video clip through their website.

During the interview, IU was asked "Why do you wear red shoes and not pink shoes?", to which she replied "The meaning of the song is about me going to someone even though that's not what I want to do and my feelings going towards someone and wanting to go back to the past even though I can't, in the same way my heart says pink shoes but I wear red shoes."

She continued, "I dance with the red shoes while forced to go somewhere, but my heart really wants pink shoes."

She also revealed that she needs 3 pairs of shoes for each stage. She said, "I need 3 pairs. One pair to wear myself, one that the dancer takes away from me the beginning of the stage, and another one that taps when I'm off the stage."
