Jonas Brothers: Rumors Of The Band Being Gay Squashed Even When Joe Jonas Admits To Having 'A Lot Of Gay Friends'

Jonas Brothers rumors on being gay are accepted by the band. Joe Jonas even admits to having plenty of friends who are homosexuals.

Joe Jonas told Out Magazine, "We have a lot of gay friends and gay fans."

Joe also acknowledged the Jonas Brothers rumors and brushed it aside. He further added,"It's a boy band stereotype; people assume, but we don't take offense."

The Jonas Brothers rumors on homosexuality are fueled by celebrities as well. Jonah Hill tweeted on @HillJonah, "One Direction. Because the Jonas Brothers just weren't gay enough!"

The three brothers, Kevin, Nick and Joe, posed for a photo shoot with the homosexual-based publication and revealed more about their feelings towards the prevalent Jonas Brothers gay rumors.

Nick Jonas commented on the Jonas Brothers rumors that he isn't surprised about them. He told Out Magazine, "Prior to us being a band, I was a super theater geek. I loved theater and I still do, and I care about fashion, and I care about a lot of things that I feel like stereotypes are attached to."

Last week the band deleted their Twitter account. This fueled more Jonas Brothers rumors of the band breaking up are trending as well.

Famed entertainment blogger Perez Hilton immediately wrote on his blog following the Twitter account deletion,"HUGE sign that the band has broken up completely after shockingly canceling their tour."

Last October 9 the brothers canceled their much anticipated US tour of 19 cities just days before it was supposed to kick off. 
They have seen stated a "deep rift within the band over creative differences" was the reason for the cancellation.

The Jonas Brothers began back in 2005. They started gaining on the Disney Channel. The three brothers are from New Jersey and consist of Paul Kevin Jonas II, Joseph Adam Jonas and Nicholas Jerry Jonas.
