Pauly D announced Monday that he has a love child, five month old daughter named Amabella. The big news was received ecstatically by the fans, friends and colleagues of Jersey Shore star cum DJ. They congratulated him personally and some of them posted wishes on social media site Twitter.

Pauly D's Jersey Shore co-star Snooki (Nicole Polozzi) gushed about Pauly's little bundle of joy in a media interview.

"YAY so happy for Pauly!! Now Lorenzo has a girlfriend! Pauly will be an amazing father," said Snooki who has a 14 month old son Lorenzo. Snooki is currently participating in dance reality show Dancing with the Stars.

Another Jersey Shore chum, JWoww aka Jenni Farley expressed her shock and surprise at Pauly D's promotion as daddy. "Holy s--t I just heard! I'm so f***ing happy for him I just texted him. Crying! He's going to be the best dad ever!" said JWoww excitedly.

Sweetheart, real name Sammi Giancola, wasted no time in registering her congratulations and happiness for the new dad and his daughter.

"I couldn't be more happy for Pauly! He is going to be such a wonderful dad! This new little girl is so lucky to have the coolest father around!" Sweetheart Sammi reportedly told E! Online.

All this while, slowly and steadily, media reports built up on the custody battle that is about to ensure between Pauly D and his baby mamma Amanda Markert. According to the DJ's reps, Amanda Markert is trying to use their daughter to pry money out of Pauly, in the name of child support.

Pauly D had first met his baby mamma Amanda Markert as a Vegas club last year where they reportedly had a one night stand. Few months later, Amanda called Pauly to inform about her pregnancy.
