Samsung Galaxy S5 Rumors: Phablet's Specs Comes With Eye-Scanning Sensor, Water And Dust-Resistant
Ever since Samsung outed the Galaxy Note 3 in September, almost everyone also has their eyes set on the upcoming phone for the Galaxy S lineup. Now, one of the most intriguing Samsung Galaxy S5 rumors is that it will come with an eye-scanning sensor.
In a report by GSM Arena a week ago, the upcoming smartphone may come with an eye-scanning technology, based on a tip from Android Sas.
Previously, several rumors have also surfaced that the new phone may also don a water and dust-resistant chassis which will rival that of Sony's latest Xperia devices.
In case the eye-scanning technology rumor proves to be true, it will certainly place the Samsung Galaxy S5 above the fingerprint sensor-powered iPhone 5s and HTC One max in terms of high-level security.
A tip from several industry sources are pointing to an announcement in January, while the release may be as soon as February next year.
