Android Apps Free Download: Plants Vs. Zombies 2 Finally Hits Play Store, Loads Tons of New Plants, Zombies And Gameplay Features

Earlier this quarter, EA Swiss Carl has unveiled the highly-awaited 'Plants Vs. Zombies 2: It's about time' on Apple's App Store leaving Android fans waiting. But yesterday was a wish come true for PvZ fans as the developer released the game on Google's Play Store.

And for those waiting for the game, it is certainly worth the wait. Plants Vs. Zombies 2: It's About Time does not feature Dave's backyard, frontyard, or roof to the disappointment of some, but it packs in several 'worlds' and 'eras' where players can battle zombies with the use of their sunshine-loving friends.

But what separates it from the original is the vast, and I say VAST, amount and types of zombies. There are mummified zombies, rockstar zombies, pirate zombies, and more!

To match up with the increased number of undead, there are also new plants which can aid you in battle. PvZ2 also introduces the 'supercharge' feature where you can provide special powers to your plants within a limited time.

Like the original, there are also plenty of mini-games to keep you interested in case you can't get 'three stars' in a particular level.

Similar to other free-to-play games on Android, there is an option to purchase in-game credits, items and other bonuses using Google Wallet.

If you're a fan of tower-defense games and you own an Android phone that meet the game's requirements, head on to the Play Store now and download Plants Vs. Zombies 2 for free.
