Upcoming Android Phones 2013: Sony Rumored To Unveil Another Phone, Sports 4.3" Display, Snapdragon 800 CPU, 20MP G-Lens Shooter

Only two months after Sony unveiled its current flagship, the Xperia Z1, the Japanese manufacturer has already launched a mini version which will be limited to its homeland's market. Now, it seems the company has heard the outcry of fans and experts and it will be launching the international version of the Xperia Z1f, or so the rumor goes.

In a report by GSM Arena, Sony will allegedly hold an event in Shanghai, China on November 12 for the release of two new Xperia phones.

The first one, dubbed as the Sony Xperia Z1S, is a 'mini' phone that will borrow the same specifications from its Japanese sibling. That means it will boast the same 4.3" 720p screen, Snapdragon 800 processor, a quad-core CPU, and a 20MP G-Lens rear camera.

An alleged press image of the Z1S was recently leaked, and was reported by GSM Arena, which shows striking similarities between the two 'minis'.

In addition to launching the Xperia Z1S, Sony is also rumored to unveil a 6-inch midrange phablet which goes by the name Xperia Taichi. Donned with a 6-inch 720p display and an octa-core MediaTek CPU, it poses a threat to the recently-announced HTC One max, though pricing would definitely be a crucial factor here.

We'll let you know once Sony has confirmed or denied these rumors.
