First Pokemon X And Y Patch Released To Correct Lumiose City Glitch: Will It Fix The Multiple Errors In The Game?

Pokemon X and Y have been released, and so has the very first patch for the 3DS release.

The version 1.1 patch, according to Serebii, predominantly addresses the Lumiose City glitch in X and Y.

This particular glitch is a serious one which occurs if a player saves outdoors in Lumiose City, and the game freezes!

While earlier people believed that only digital copies of Pokemon X and Y are affected, but now it seems both physical and digital copies of X and Y can be afflicted if you save outdoors in Lumiose City.

However, with this new patch, hopefully this issue will be resolved for good. And reportedly, it also will address another issue with the Global Trade Station where an error occurs if you're using one of the filters.

This Pokemon X and Y patch takes 229 blocks to download.

However, these are not the only glitches and errors found in Pokemon X and Y, and it will be curious to see if the new patch addresses all the know errors.

For example, there is a glitch called "Pokemon Albino," where it causes the player's Pokemon to lose their color turning them black and white.

This glitch is reportedly very rare, and it is relatively harmless. All you have to do is save and restart the game and the glitch should disappear in X and Y.

In addition, a Pokemon X and Y gamer has also encountered a bug during Wonder Trade, where if a Pokemon evolves by trading and learns a new move, both the new move and the forgotten move will disappear.

Hopefully all these errors can be fixed with this patch.
