Anastasia Steele has finally found her knight in shining armor in the name of Jamie Dornan. Fifty Shades of Grey Movie casting has concluded. The Irish model and actor was casted by Universal Pictures and the creators of the highly acclaimed movie adaptation of the erotic novel.

Apparently, Dakota Johnson, who is also the daughter of Hollywood actors Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson has helped the movie creators in looking for the new Christian Grey. Producer Michael De Luca admitted that losing their original Grey was a setback, but now insists production is ‘‘on track.’’

‘‘She’s the best partner a producer could have,’’ De Luca told Eonline.com. ‘‘She’s helping us look through the candidates to see which chemistry kind of captures our attention,’’ the producer added.

Though Universal Pictures or Jamie Dornan has yet to make any official statement regarding the casting, the author of the best-selling novel already welcomed him through the author’s tweet:

How did the fans react to this news? Well, contrary to fans’ negative reaction for casting Hunnam for the role, the “Once Upon A Time” actor seems to be getting positive feedback from the fans. His twitter followers have increased to more than 95,000 hours after the news of him playing the role of Christian Grey circulated. One fan has expressed her delight for the new Mr. Grey:
