Samsung Galaxy S5 Rumors: 64-Bit Processor Rumored To Be Ready For Upcoming Smartphone

There has been lots of speculations about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5, and this one would consider it a tough match up to Apple's iPhoe 5s. An addition to the ever-expanding number of Samsung Galaxy S5 rumors include a 64-bit processor that is developed by the Korean manufacturer itself.

In a report by several tech blogs, sources tipped that the rumored 64-bit processor will be developed just in time for the upcoming flagship of the Korean manufacturer's world-famous S-line.

Last month, Apple surprised the tech world when it unleashed the iPhone 5s that is powered by a 64-bit CPU, making it the world's first 64-bit phone. Ironically, these processors were developed by Samsung, which has been a long-time partner of the Cupertino company in developing new phones.

Apple's latest tablets certainly help in keeping the industry's focus on the company's products and devices.

Now, Samsung may want to regain the attention by releasing a monster phone that packs in most of the specs which its competitors boast off. Aside from th 64-bit processor, the new Samsung Galaxy S phone is also rumored to have an eye-scanning sensor, and pack a water and dust-resistant body.

Still, we better take these rumors with more than a pinch of salt.
