Metta World Peace makes his presence known, even in the pre-season. Even outside the border. 

In a pre-season game with the Toronto Raptors, forward Tyler Hansbrough gets his arms entangled with an unknown opponent. He takes offense and fights off the offender. When he finally turns around, with an expression ready to fight, he finally sees his assailant: Metta World Peace.
In this instance, Metta World Peace lived up to his name. No fight erupts, as seen in the video, the split-second change of expression is clear. Tyler Hansbrough is struck with fear, and smartly backs down.

Tyler Hansbrough is a tough guy. Known more as a college player, he led North Carolina to a championship and earned the monicker “Psycho T” for his toughness and tenacity (and his name starts with T).

This is definitely not the first time he was involved in a fight. His game is not as flamboyant as most other North Carolina recruits. In the NBA, he was just a second string frontline defender and is brought to the game for defense and toughness.

He was known for last year’s infamous altercation with Chris ‘Birdman’ Andersen in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals with the Miami Heat. At the end of the season, he chose to sign with the Toronto Raptors for a chance to have a bigger role and longer plating time.
Metta World Peace, however, has to be the standard on which anyone with a nickname of ‘Psycho’ should be measured up. The former Ron Artest is probably known as the “baddest of the bad” in the NBA. He was suspended without pay for an entire season because of the notorious “Malice in the Palace” incident in 2004, perhaps the worst brawl in NBA history.

That time, he was still with the Indiana Pacers. He was involved in an altercation with Detroit Pistons center Ben Wallace. They were playing in “The Palace” which was Detroit’s home arena. When the fight broke, the fans from Detroit got involved and Artest/World Peace chased and punched fans in the stands.

Psycho T meets his match, and he suddenly gets his wits back!
