Nathan Sykes Will Not Leave His Band For Ariana Grande! ‘It’s All About ‘The Wanted’. Always Has Been, Always Will Be,’ Says British Singer

Nathan Sykes has dismissed recent reports about his alleged separation from his band, 'The Wanted', because of his commitment to Ariana Grande.

When Sykes started dating his pop star girlfriend, rumors have circulated that he would leave his boy band to focus on singing duets with Grande. In an interview with Bliss Magazine, Sykes affirms that he is still a part of the band and it's his only concentration: "I am so focused on "The Wanted" right now. It's all about "The Wanted". Always has been, always will be."

His recent performance with the band took place in Los Angeles, California where the boys promoted their newest single 'Show Me the Love' which is featured in their upcoming album, 'Word of the Mouth'.

Earlier this year, the musically-inclined couple collaborated for a track called 'Almost Is Never Enough'. The song has been featured in the fictional film 'Mortal Instrument: City of Bones'. The couple lhas been commended by fans for their heartfelt performance.

Even if Sykes' concentration is his band, he never failed to praise the team behind their collaboration: "I didn't know how my voice would sound 'cause I didn't know what my capabilities were, and it was kind of scary that I've had so much more control than I've ever had due to the team that I've worked with being so great."

He similarly harped compliments for his lady love: "Honestly, I couldn't ask to work with a more talented vocalist than Ariana. I have so much respect for what she's just about to do, and I think it's a very exciting time for both me and Ariana for slightly different reasons. She's about to go on this quite amazing journey."

The young couple started dating in September after the 'Yours Truly' singer admitted her big crush on the British singer.
