"The Vampire Diaries" season 5, episode 5 airs this Thursday, but new spoilers and a sneak peek trailer of episode 5 of "The Vampire Diaries" season 5 shows that Damon and Elena get to dress up in costumes and Damon may go after his brother Stefan.

In spoilers for the "The Vampire Diaries" season 5, episode 5, which is called "Monster's Ball," Elena and Damon attend the Whitmore Historical Ball. Elena decides to dress as Anne Boleyn and Damon dresses as Henry VIII. (Anne Boleyn was played by Natalie Portman in the film "The Other Boleyn Girl".)

At the Whitmore Historical Ball, Elena shares a dance with Dr. Maxfield (guest star Rick Cosnett), who will have a disturbing message for her, Hollywood Hills reports.

Caroline's evening at the Ball is going to prove to be an emotional rollercoaster for our favorite blonde vampire.

Looks like "Monster's Ball" will feature a very vampire-filled Ball - but what else would we expect in "The Vampire Diaries"?

Meanwhile, Nadia (guest star Olga Fonda) will reveal her surprising history to Katherine, Hollywood Hills reports.

Damon is going to try to make a deal with Silas, but this backfires when Silas demands that Damon kill his younger brother, Stefan. This will cause a violent confrontation to go down in episode 5 of season 5 of "The Vampire Diaries," according to Hollywood Hills.

Hopefully the confrontation knocks some sense into both Damon and Stefan - we hope Damon comes back to reality and realizes that Silas is controlling him, and that Stefan finally gets his memory back.

The website reports that Damon will also try to bring Bonnie back to life. We're sure Elena will truly appreciate Damon's effort, who has in the past proved to make rather selfish decisions, and especially after that heartbreaking scene in episode 4 of Bonnie's funeral.

Kat Graham, who plays Bonnie, and Zach Roerig, who plays Matt, will also appear in the episode. Kellie Cyrus directed the episode, and it was written by Sonny Postiglione. Episode 5 is scheduled to air on Thursday night, October 31st at 7pm central time on the CW.
