LeBron James Nike Commercial: New ‘Training Day’ Ad Shows Rocky Balboa-Like Preparation, MVP Talks About The Upcoming Season

Nike recently released a new LeBron James Nike commercial. It started with LeBron exiting his house biking around South Beach with everyone following him and also ended in his house. Nike released the advertisement last Sunday.

The Rocky-esque ad shows a group of kids following him on his bike, watch him play basketball with other people of Miami, swim in the beach and then he goes to the gym to practice and shoot some hoops before going back to his house.

James told The Associated Press after the release of the "Training Day" video that he had so much fun and he also wanted to pinpoint the message of the video.

"So much fun, man," he said. "The message is obvious. I want people to feel like they're at one with me and I had a lot of fun, shooting it all over Miami and to have all those kids, it was great."

He also said that he had inputs about the concept and idea of the commercial video. This ad was also made for the release of his new edition for his line of shoes, the LeBron 11.

"They allow me to have a lot of input on the spots that come out and they're basically geared to who I am and what I do on a day-to-day basis," last year's MVP said. "It was great to put that together.''

One day before the start of the season, the two-time defending champion expressed how excited he is for the new NBA games.

The Miami Heat will face the Chicago Bulls on their opening game, which they will be presented their championship rings. LeBron also uttered how thrilled he is to face the returning Derrick Rose for their first game.

"I'm happy and thrilled that he's back," James said. "I'm happy with what he did last year, to be able to stand strong throughout everything, throughout all of the adversity of everybody criticizing him about what he should do. He did what was best for him."
