The 29-year-old British royal has been dating Cressida Bonas, 24, since May 2012, when they were introduced by his cousin Princess Eugenie. It's been 18 months of a relationship for the infamous party boy.

So will Cressida Bonas and Prince Harry get engaged this year? An insider told British magazine Heat that Prince Harry already has in mind where he is going to pop the question, The Huffington Post reports.

"Harry's been training in Iceland for his walk to the South Pole in November and has fallen in love with the country. He wants to propose somewhere close to his heart and he wants to take Cressida to the famous Ice Hotel and then pop the question under the Northern Lights. He knows she'll love this," the source told the Heat.

"Harry's love life has always made headlines, but she's struggled with the limelight. The big advantage of sneaking off is that they can truly be alone," the source added.

"Harry wants to take her away around Christmas time. Probably before New Year."

Harry's brother Prince William gave his now-wife Catherine a few months to decide if she was ready to accept his marriage proposal before they officially announced it in 2010, and it looks like Prince Harry may be following in his older brother's footsteps.

Some have been speculating that Prince Harry will be patient with Cressy, since she has struggled with being in the spotlight since dating the royal.

But let's not forget who was absent from Prince George's christening: Cressy.

"If she went to this totally private service, it would be tantamount to saying they were about to be engaged," a royal source told People magazine about Cressida's lack of an invitation to Prince George's christening.

A congregation member told E! News about Prince George's christening: "It's not just intimate, it's absolutely private."
