Since Google launched Android 4.4 Kit Kat in September, dozens of rumors of the upcoming Nexus 5 have also surfaced. A new rumor more or less confirms the supposed Nexus 5 release date, which is said to be held on October 31st. 

According to Android Authority, a rumor from MobileSyrup has pointed to a potential release date at the end of October. In addition, the report also mentioned that the Nexus 5 may also hit Canada during the first week of November. 

In previous rumors, leaked photos and documents, the upcoming Nexus 5 will be developed by LG, much like the current-gen Nexus 4. It is rumored to get similar internals to the LG G2. 

Obviously, what most people are waiting for is Android 4.4 Kit Kat which will come in pre-installed in the Nexus 5. 

Previous reports say that the Droid may retail from $299 up to $399 for different storage options, though Google has yet to confirm or deny these claims.
