Selena Gomez: Miley Cyrus Is Getting Too Raunchy; New Celebrity Feud?

Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez in a back-biting feud? Selena Gomez, the "Come and Get It" singer, thinks Miley Cyrus is a getting a little too come-and-get-it lately, but she's not saying that to Miley's face.

According to an inside source Selena Gomez thinks Miley Cyrus' new raunchy style is a mistake that will come back and bite her on her twerking butt.

Sure, in public Selena Gomez has been very supportive of Miley Cyrus, even the VMA performance 2013. But when no one's listening Selena Gomez is not thrilled with fellow teen queen's raunchy makeover.

An insider said "Selena would never come right out and trash Miley but she does think Miley's making a mistake by being so raunchy. She thinks it's bad for women in general but also for her as an artist because it puts out the expectation that she should do that too because sex sells."

After Miley Cyrus VMAs 2013 performance, Selena Gomez defended the twerking performance. Miley Cyrus' friend Selena Gomez, another ex-child star at Disney had no problem with Miley Cyrus VMAs 2013 performance, saying, "Amazing. It was awesome."

But days later when it came out that Selena Gomez's own MTV VMA 2013 performance as overshadowed by the controversy, Selena Gomez stuck her tongue out for photographers, mimicking the Miley Cyrus performance.

Selena Gomez was caught on camera at the Miley Cyrus MTV VMA 2013 performance with her best friend Taylor Swift who was mouthing an F-bomb as Miley Cyrus twerked her way through a Robin Thicke song that is fighting its way through copyright courts.

No one seemed to notice Selena Gomez MTV VMA 2013 performance and her moonman win was unexpected. But the MTV VMAs have a history of providing the unexpected. While the world appeared to be aghast at the Miley Cyrus MTV VMA performance, Selena defended her. In public statements anyway, media has been pushing a photo of Selena Gomez apparently mocking the racy Miley Cyrus VMA performance.

During the Miley Cyrus MTV VMA performance, Selena Gomez and her BFF Taylor Swift looked like they were having a great time. The star pals were dancing and caught up in the beat. MTV's Audience Cam caught Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift singing and dancing along to Miley Cyrus' "We Can't Stop," even though at one point it looks like they were making fun of the performance.

After the MTV VMAs, Selena Gomez said she thought the Miley Cyrus MTV VMA performance was great and that "she loved  it," but two nights later it looked like she was making fun of the twerking country singer. Was Selena Gomez just responding to the media hype that followed it? Or was she coming down off the high of winning a moonman and realize that no one seemed to notice Selena Gomez's MTV VMA 2013 performance.

But Selena Gomez didn't know that her country-pop confidante would steal the scene even in the audience when cameras panned to the par and caught Taylor Swift dropping the F-bomb.

Immediately after the MTV VMAs, Selena Gomez defended the Miley Cyrus twerk duet with Robin Thicke, saying that was the best part of the show. Selena said "I really thought the collaboration with Miley was amazing... Loved [it]."

But two nights after the MTV VMAs, a photographer caught Selena Gomez with her mouth wide open and her tongue darting out at the premiere of "Getaway in L.A."

Selena Gomez is no stranger to controversy herself. She had to drops out of shows in Russia because they expected her to speak out against LGBT issues in the country. Selena Gomez had to scrap plans to perform in St. Petersburg on September 23 and in Moscow on September 24 after she was denied a Russian visa.  Before one of Selena Gomez's representatives confirmed that the singer will be skipping Russia an online campaign was growing to get Selena Gomez to speak out against Russia's anti-gay legislation.
