If you are one of the thousands of Apple fans who have been eyeing the iPad Air release date, then you will certainly welcome this update. 

According to trusted Apple leaksters MacRumors and 9to5Mac, the new slate will officially hit stores on November 1. But before the said date, buyers will be able to reserve their tablets at the nearest Apple stores, through the company's website. 

In the Cupertino-based manufacturer's announcement last week, the iPad Air will be available for pick up exactly on the 1st of November. However, that isn't the case for the more-demanded Retina mini, which is expected to go through supply problems. 

9to5Mac also claims the Retina mini would be available for pre-order on November 1, though the exact date of release would still vary. 

Let us all hope Apple is able to roll out all of its devices before the holiday shopping season kicks in.
