Reports about Nexus Gem release date that it is slated for October 31 supports a post from Android Police, as cited by Headlines And Global News, that the new smartwatch may have its unveiling towards the end of the month and it might turn out to be a huge event. However, October 31 is only a day from now and there is nothing like even a teaser or any invitation coming from Google indicating that they are setting up a media event on that day.

As for the features of the Nexus Gem, the post from The Independent reads, "the smartwatch would reportedly utilise the search giant's digital 'personal assistant' and all-round lackey, Google Now." And similar to its market competitor which was already announced, the Samsung Galaxy Gear, it is expected that Google Nexus Gem will be synchronized to Android smartphones, citing reports from 9to5Google.

Even though, the rumor mill for Nexus Gem release date continues to be in high gear, Google is still keeping its mum about it.
