Utah Doctor Martin MacNeil's mistress Gypsy Willis testified in the court on Tuesday, saying the doctor hired her as nanny for his eight children shortly after his wife's death. 

Willis also revealed that MacNeil had proposed marriage on his knee with a $7000worth ring in a Wyoming restaurant.

 The proposal came in July 2007, approximately three months after he allegedly killed his wife Michele MacNeil by first sedating her and then drowning her in a bath tub.

The prosecutor has argued that Willis is "out to protect him (Martin MacNeil) as much as she can," and Judge Derek Pullan agreed noting that the nature of her prior relationship with MacNeil aligns her testimony with the defense.

Willis told the jury that she met Dr. MacNeil online in November 2006 and soon they started dating and meeting randomly. She said yes to sending risqué photos of herself to MacNeil, a day after his wife's funeral. 

In addition to twenty-two text messages on the day of funeral, Willis sent three suggestive photos next day.

Willis also told the jury that she was privy to MacNeil's facelift surgery plan as a ploy to drug his wife (before he killed her). In defense, MacNeil's lawyers said that the Utah Doctor never said anything about the facelift surgery to Willis. 

The defense also hinted at the credibility of Willis' testimony as she had agreed to testify truthfully in return for more time out of jail (in connection with the identity theft case)

The next hearing is scheduled to take place next Tuesday, where Willis' parents will also testify. Meanwhile, Judge Pullan, on Friday, had also allowed prosecution to call MacNeil's youngest daughter Ada MacNeil for limited testimony. 

Ada had reportedly discovered her mother's dead body in the bathtub, six years ago. She will be questioned on the statements she had given to her professional counselor shortly after her mother's death.
