Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Sue Over Leaked Engagement Video [SEE VID HERE]; Kimye Claims YouTube Co-Founder Chad Hurley Desperate To Boost ‘Underperforming Business Venture’

Newly engaged Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are suing YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley for leaking their engagement video even after signing a confidentiality agreement during their engagement party.

The power couple officially filed the lawsuit last Thursday accusing Chad Hurley of “secretly recording” the ‘Yeezus’ Rapper proposal to the ‘Keeping With The Kardashian’ Star last October 21, 2013.

According to reports, Hurley posted the 2 ½ minute “secretly recorded” video to his newly founded website, Mixbit.com. The video is still live until now with about 1.6 million viewers with a title “PLEEESE MARRY MEEE!!! Congrats Kim and Kanye!”. [See Video Below]

In the leaked engagement video, West is seen kneeling by the second base of the AT&T Park where he romantically proposed to Kim while an orchestra is playing at the background.

Leaking the video could possibly lessen the value of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s engagement video that the power couple owns based on the lawsuit.

In the lawsuit, Kimye’s lawyer, Eric George, slams Hurley with an accusation that the former YouTube CEO is using the video to promote his new business Internet venture, Mixbit.

Kimye also said that Hurley wasn’t officially invited on the event. It was reported that Hurley only managed to get inside of the party by tagging with an invited friend.

Kim and Kanye only agreed to let Hurley stay under certain conditions: “only after giving his word – including in writing – that he would not publish any aspect of the event,” according to the lawsuit.

The filed lawsuit also includes an image of Hurley holding the signed confidentiality agreement.

The court filing further declares, “Immediately after giving his word to honor the condition required for his attendance at the event,” Hurley went ahead and posted the video.

Kimye, together with their lawyer, also believes Hurley did this as an act of desperation.

According to the lawsuit that was released by CNN, “Despite his extraordinary financial successin creating YouTube, which was sold in 2006, Hurley has ever since sought his ‘second act’. This has become exceedingly elusive to Hurley.”

As of this moment, Kim and Kanye are suing Hurley for unspecified damages that include punitive. The value of the video is still unknown. Although, the power couple said it was supposed to be for the MC Cable Television, a branch of E! Entertainment responsible for producing and broadcasting “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”

As of this moment, Hurley and his company still has no response or comment regarding the lawsuit.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West leaked engagement video on Oct. 23, just 2 days after Kanye’s romantic proposal to Kim.
