LAX Shooting: 'Mad Men' was filming at LAX during the deadly shooting that left a TSA staffer dead and three others wounded. The production crew and other business people from AMC were caught up in the LAX shooting.

The LAX suspect was identified as Paul Ciancia, 23, of Los Angeles late Friday.

The LAX shooting was that left a TSA staffer dead happened not too far the movie capital of America, Hollywood. According to ongoing tweets, the AMC series "Mad Men" was of filming an episode at Los Angeles International Airport this morning when the shooting happened. James Franco was in a plane on the ground during the LAX shooting and posted photos of the chaos to Instagram. Other Hollywood biggies were trapped in the traffic after LAX was evacuated at 9:30 a.m. while the police looked for the gunman.

A key grip on "Man Men," Dustin Woods, tweeted that the an episode was being shot at American Airlines' Terminal 4 at LAX. That was only one terminal away from the origin of the shooting at about 9:20 a.m.

The grip Woods tweeted to Michael Schneider of TV Guide that "Mad Men" was at LAX for its first day back filming.

AMC has not issued any statements.

More than 100 flights were delayed or canceled because of the disruption.

Kelly Kahl, a senior vice president at CBS gave an on-scene report by telephone to KCBS-TV Los Angeles. Kahl was on his way to LAX when the lockdown occurred. James Franco posted photos to Instagram while his plane was sitting on the ground. Grant Imahara and Tory Belleci, of Discovery Channel's "Mythbusters" series, were in Terminal 3 waiting to catch a flight to Delaware to film Discovery's "Punkin Chunkin" holiday special.

In a joint statement Discovery and Science Channel said "Grant and Tory are safe and being rerouted.  Our thoughts are with all those affected by today's tragedy and our gratitude goes out to the members of the LAPD, Airport Police, TSA, and Virgin America staff for restoring safety to the scene,"
