Minecon 2013 Starts Tomorrow, November 2; 7500 Gamers Expected To Attend The 3rd All-Things Minecraft Event Set For This Weekend; What To Bring? [VIDEO]

Minecon 2013 is almost here!

In less than 24 hours, the most-awaited third all-things Minecraft event is already set to become a reality and around 7500 fans are anticipated to participate. Mojang released 7500 Minecon 2013 tickets which sold out very quickly. The Minecon 2013 tickets were divided into three batches (2500 passes per batch) and each batch were sold on different schedules to be fair for all the fans.

Minecon 2013, a 2-day event, is slated to commence tomorrow, November 2. The location for Minecon 2013 is at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The event will be held at the West Building of OCCC, particularly, at WA3-WB1.

This is the first time that Orlando will be holding a Minecon event. The first two Minecon events happened at Las Vegas and Paris Disneyland Park.  According to Biz Journals, this kind of events help further increase the successful tourism industry in Florida.

Meanwhile, Mojang promised before that attendees will be given free Minecon 2013 capes. And keeping what the company said, the indie-game developer has recently sent out emails with the Minecon 2013 capes to addresses that were used on purchasing the tickets. This is according to a tweet from Tobias Mollstam (@mollstam), which is embedded below:

For those who can't attend Minecon 2013, you can expect online updates and live streaming of certain parts of the convention from Mojang.
