Henry Cavill news, update: The ending of the “Man of Steel” where Superman, starring British actor Henry Cavill, killed General Zod could give an idea of how the story between Batman and Superman would unveil in the upcoming “Batman vs. Superman,” says director Zack Snyder.

“Maybe we’ll see the repercussion of that in the next film. Maybe.” says Zack Snyder during a live Q&A with fans. The upcoming flick featuring Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as Batman will be released on July 17, 2015.

Aside from how the story could playout with the Zod death as a hint - possibly more unexpected twists on the stories, Zack Snyder said that in the film, Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck will have a lot of physical conflicts.

“Of course, some physical conflicts [will be involved],” Snyder says during the Q&A.

The highly-anticipated film is the follow-up to the blockbuster “Man of Steel” which has grossed more than $600 million worldwide. Henry Cavill’s role in the flick as Superman has officially catapulted him to super stardom, with many hailing the British actor as having arrived in Hollywood.

Henry Cavill is currently filimg “Man from U.N.C.L.E” with Guy Ritchie in Rome, where he’ll be co-starring with “Lone Ranger” star, Armie Hammer.
