The "X Factor" judge and Lewis Hamilton dated from 2008 to 2010; they got back together twice and most recently split in July 2013, E! News reports.

However, Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton were recently spotted enjoying a secret rendezvous at a London hotel, E! News reports.

"We're just friends," the 35-year-old pop star told The Sun. "Just friends."

"We just, um, met up to speak that night," she explained about meeting up with 28-year-old Hamilton. "That's all."

But this doesn't mean it's totally over for Nicole and her ex boyfriend.

"Whatever the future holds, I don't rule anything out," Scherzinger said. "I also don't have any regrets."

The break up for Nicole and Lewis was not an easy one. Nicole admitted that to get through the difficult summer after she split from the British Formula One racing driver, she turned to spirituality.

"I got really deep into my spirituality. I know that's not what you really talk about over here, but for me, it's been my savior," she said. "A lot of time in relationships people lose themselves - they lose that sparkle, that shine, their purpose and how 'schmazing' they can be. For me, I had to get back to my core, my center, my soul."

Scherzinger, who was the former frontwoman of the Pussycat Dolls, was previously engaged to 311 rocker Nick Hexum. They broke up in November 2004.
