PlayStation 4 Release Date News: Sony Promises More PS4 Games Coming Soon As New Console Launches Today; Check Out Latest Game Deals Available On Top Retailers

Finally, PlayStation 4 has finally debuts in the market.

Today, the much-awaited PlayStation 4 release date has finally become a reality for all the fervent video gamers in North America. Two weeks ahead of the PlayStation 4 release date in Europe, the Sony PS4 just made its debut in the US market today, November 15.

And to celebrate the PlayStation 4 release date in the US, Sony releases a special video which showcases gameplay footages from various existing and soon-to-be-available PS4 games. As posted on The Verge, Sony had a live stream event of the New York launch event for its next-generation game console, deviating away from its list of launch titles and putting the limelight on the big and exclusive games that are yet to come to PS4.

For one, during the PlayStation 4 release event, Sony announced that there will be a new "Uncharted" game coming, developed by Naughty Dog. Take a look at its trailer below:

Moreover, a trailer for the upcoming cross-platform open world game, "Destiny" was also shown during the PlayStation 4 launch event. The trailer showed the graphics engine of the game by Bungie. Moreover, as announced, Destiy "would move into open beta first on the PS4 and PS3," as posted on Mashable.

Furthemore, the release date for the open-world superhero game Infamous: Second Son was also announced. Expect the game to be available on March 21, 2014.

Also, this week, two of the top retailers are offering deals for PS4 games. As posted on Gospel Herald,  aside from PS4 titles, a buy two get one free deal on more than a thousand games is available in Target. Meanwhile, Toys R US has a purchase three, get a $50gift card.

Those who will purchase three select games for the PS4 will get $25 worth of My Best Buy certificates. And for those who shops at Amazon, there is a $5 credit deal for customers who will avail titles like Assassin's Creed IV, Battlefield 4, Madden NFL 25, The Last of US, FIFA 14 and more.
