As "The Legend of Korra" Book 2 draws to a close, Nickelodeon has made the unusual move to unveil the final two episodes-making up the one-hour season finale-on Nick.com before the live broadcast next Friday.

As previously reported, a Korra Nation held a contest wherein Nickelodeon will upload "The Legend of Korra" Book 2 season finale for 10,000 reblogs of the official announcement Tumblr post.

"No, seriously. Pick your jaw up off the floor!  Catch 'Night of a Thousand Stars' and 'Harmonic Convergence' tonight at 8/7c on Nick...and then unlock the Book 2 finale episodes 'Darkness Falls' and 'Light in the Dark' online at midnight EST!"

Of course, the contest was achieved with time to spare, and fans of "The Legend of Korra" managed to get FOUR new episodes of Book 2 in just a day.

However, according to The Legend of Korra Facebook page, episode 13 and 14 will air next Friday as planned.

And now with "The Legend of Korra" Book 2 season finale out of the way, the question on everyone's mind is when Book 3 will premiere.

As fans remember, there was a 15-month gap between the release of Book 1 and Book 2. So, does this mean Book 3 will have just as long a wait?

Currently, production has already begun for Book 4 of "The Legend of Korra," and with the fast release of the second half of Book 2, perhaps this is a sign that Book 3 will arrive sooner rather than later.

With a host of scheduling changes and struggling ratings, here's to hoping "The Legend of Korra" Book 3 gets the series back to fighting shape!
