Tim Tebow News Update: NFL Free Agent Might Consider Career In TV As Sports Broadcaster? Manila Born Athlete Focused On Helping Typhoon Haiyan Victims

Tim Tebow news update: The former NFL Quarterback Tim Tebow has really been trying his best to get signed again as a quarterback in the supreme league. Unfortunately, it looks like his time in that particular spotlight is over. It looks like the ex-quarterback has finally come to grips with the reality that he may never be signed again (not to the major NFL squads anyway and not as starting quarterback). According to Huffington Post, there is a new addition to Team Tebow that may be a very clear indication that the star is doing a 360 degree turn on careers. The newest addition they are speaking of is a broadcast agent from the well-known talent agency CAA.

Huffington Post apparently got this news from Liz Mullen of Sports Business Journal who tweeted that the out-of-work quarterback now has Michael Levine, Nick Khan and Jimmy Sexton representing him. Michael Levine is a CAA sports Co-head while Nick Khan is a broadcasting agent. Just a bit later on, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com also tweeted with the same information stating that he might be very well stepping into a broadcasting career.

As much as there were a number of NFL teams in 2013 that had quarterbacks on the bench with injuries, Tebow was still not lucky enough to get signed again. He might have decided it really is time to hang up his helmet for good.

In other news, Tim Tebow is trying to get as much aid as he can to his native country of Philippines. According to The Washington Times, the star was born in the Phillipines when his parents used to do missionary work in the country. The country has just been hit by one of the worst typhoons (Haiyan) in recorded history. He opened a foundation in his name and has a donation link so that anybody anywhere can donate to the cause.

Before Typhoon Haiyan hit, his foundation was in the process of building an orthopedic children’s hospital in partnership with CURE international. The hospital which is located in Davao City was expected to open next year and luckily it is in one of the few areas that didn’t get hit by the storm. According to First Coast News, Tim Tebow is also putting in work with his father’s foundation to open a church and possibly an orphanage in the Phillipines.

Looks like Tim’s Team is growing and even without his career as a professional quarterback in the NFL, he still has his hands full. He would however fit well in College TV wouldn’t he?
