Super Smash Bros Wii U: Upcoming 2014 Fighting Game To Feature Mario Galaxy Stage; Not Going To Support Cross-Play Between Wii U And Nintendo 3DS

A recent news for 'Super Smash Bros.' Wii U were revealed indicating a new and exciting level  coming to the game.

One of the most highly-anticipated Nintendo game is the 4th installments of the Super Smash Bros for the Wii U console, and fresh update were unleashed by the company about it.

According to the creator of Super Smash Bros for Wii U, Masahiro Sakurai, the game will have a brand new stage that will be based on the Super Mario Galaxy series. As cited by GameRant, Sakura, revealed the announcement on the game's official website, saying, "A new stage, Mario Galaxy!! The pull of gravity emanates from the center of the planet, so this will require using brand-new tactics."

The Super Mario Galaxy stage will be exclusive for the Super Smash Bros Wii U game. Thus, for the Nintendo 3DS version of the game, there will be an alternate Super Mario stage, which known to be based on the Super Mario 3D Land.

Super Smash Bros Wii U is scheduled to arrive next year, but it will not support cross-play between Wii U console and the Nintendo 3DS platform, as posted on Polygon, citing an earlier interview with Sakurai. Furthermore, the post reads, "Sakurai explained that, due to the stages that will be unique to each platform, the systems would be incompatible. And while the handheld and console versions of the next Super Smash Bros. will feature system-specific stages, the game's moves, characters and items will be "nearly identical.""

Previously, it was also revealed that Prince Marth will also return in the upcoming Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3Ds to fight against other Nintendo characters. As posted on Techno Buffalo, Prince Marth is the 18th character officially revealed to be part of the Super Smash Bros for Wii U.

A specific Super Smash Bros Wii U release date has not been announced yet but gamers can expect more news and updates about the game in the coming months.
