The group f(x) will be attending the 9th Korean Music Awards on the 29th.

Its album, Pinocchio, and the song, Pinocchio (Danger), have been nominated as the best dance and electornic album and song respectively along with 2NE1's "I am the Best", Trampolin's "Little Animal", Infinite's "Be Mine", and T-ARA "Loly-Poly." Last year, f(x) has been nominated for its song, "Nu ABO", on the best dance and electroni along with 2NE1's "Can't Nobody" and Miss-A's "Bad Girl Good Girl." This nomination particular drew attention since all of the Big 3 entertainments were competing. Although both of Miss-A from JYP and 2NE1 from YG have earned the awards, f(x) from SM ended up earning the best musician award voted by the netizens.

However, f(x) is the only idol group whose name has been nominated in both album and song sections which imply its likely chance to win this year. The committee of KMA appraised f(x) for having an unique style of music.
