Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Colored Phones Arrive In Orange, Pink & Purple In U.K.; New 4.3-Inch Handsets W/ Android 4.2.2 Avail. At Carphone Warehouse

Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini colored phones arrived this week in time for the holiday season. According to GSM Arena, the U.K. is getting three new flavors of the 4.3-inch Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. The device runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The tech site notes that the South Korea tech giant seems to have given an exclusive deal to Carphone Warehouse to offer the new devices.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini pink and purple, or more officially called the supernova-hot pink and ecclesiastical purple, are now in-stock. The orange variant, labeled as eye-scalding orange will be available on December 9. Carphone Warehouse will be offering all the colors, including the original black and white versions.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini is available from the retailer for £379.95 (est. $622.05) for the unlocked version. If you opt for the two-year contract with any of the major carriers offered by Carphone Warehouse, the device is for free with the monthly charge starting at £21 (est. $34).

Earlier November, Samsung also launched the Blue Artic version of the bigger and the original version, the Samsung Galaxy S4. It’s being offered exclusively with Best Buy and was offered for free with a two-year contract with the retailer’s endorsed carriers. Sold unlocked, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Blue is priced at around $750.

According to CNET U.K., the new range of S4 Mini goes head to head with the Nokia Lumia 525 announced also this week which is available in orange, yellow and white.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini was officially announced May 2013 and has a 8MP rear camera, 1.9MP front-facing. Under the hood is runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1.5 GB RAM and a built-in storage that starts at 8GB, expandable to 64GB with MicroSD support.
