Top Android Phones 2013: Red-Coated HTC One Max Hits The Rumor Mill In Taiwan, Shows Up In Carrier's Promo Materials

HTC is well-known in releasing among the top Android phones in 2013, but it seems the manufacturer isn't taking chances and it wants to appeal from both ends of the spectrum. It had done this with the current flagship, the HTC One, and there is no reason why it wouldn't do the same thing as well with its first ever phablet, the One max.

In a recent report by GSM Arena, there seems to be rumors within the company's hometown in Taiwan regarding a red edition of the Android-powered phablet. It all began when a leaked promo material from Taiwanese carrier FarEasTone featured several HTC devices which it would launch in the next few weeks.

In the poster, it showcased the HTC Desire 601, Butterfly, and Desire Q all donned in fiery red. But what got the viewers' attention was the red HTC One max at the far left of the photo, complete with its fingerprint sensor at its back. Considering HTC has yet to announce any red versions of the device, the leaked promo material stirred a rumor that managed to get across the Pacific and into the US.

Whether this red HTC One max will reach the international market, we still don't know at the moment.
