The Walking Dead Reanimates Brian Griffin Death Outrage: Family Guy Fan Raises Money For Memorial

Although the death of Brian Griffin on "Family Guy" has come and gone, the recent trauma caused by "The Walking Dead" appears to have resurrected its resentment.

As most fans know, a recent episode of "Family Guy" saw the death of beloved sardonic dog Brian as he was run over by a car. The move has incensed many viewers, and even a petition on Change.com has been made to bring Brian Griffin back from the dead.

Although the "Family Guy" teams insists that Brian Griffin will stay dead, fans continue to discuss the traumatic TV death.

Which may be the one thing "Family Guy" has in common with "The Walking Dead."

The recent "Walking Dead" episode has become the rage on Twitter, with beloved character Hershel Greene cruelly decapitated. Many on Twitter are comparing the death of Hershel to the trauma induced by Brian Griffin.

And while death on "The Walking Dead" is a common pastime, fans aren't quite ready to let go of Brian Griffin quite yet.

According to ComicBook.com, a "Family Guy" fan has started an IndieGoGo campaign to raise $10,000 to build a life-sized statue of Brian in downtown Providence, Rhode Island.

Check out this video explain the project below:

In addition, the Facebook page supporting a Brian Griffin Memorial Statue has also attracted 1,200 likes.

While a Brian Griffin memorial might be doable, it would be infinitely more difficult for "The Walking Dead" given its long list of deceased characters.
