Assassin’s Creed Pirates iOS, Android App First Update Now Out; Includes New Map, Playground And Missions

An update for "Assassin's Creed Pirates" iOS and Android app is now available.

According to the post on Gamezone, the first major Assassin's Creed Pirates update is already out. Particularly, the update for the mobile installment for the Assassin's Creed franchise arrived on Thursday, January 9.

To those who are unfamiliar with the gameplay for Assassin's Creed Pirates, the description on the Ubisoft blogsite reads:

In this stand-alone game for smartphones and tablets, further explore the Caribbean during the Golden Age of piracy as Alonzo Batilla, a young and ambitious captain. Manage your crew, upgrade your ship and engage in huge naval battles to become the most feared pirate of your time and claim La Buse's legendary treasure.

As for the first Assassin's Creed Pirates update, it brings in new missions and map to the game. More specifically, Nassau, the latest addition in Assassin's Creed Pirates maps is the most challenging area in the game. Aside from the new map, the difficulty across other missions has also intensified. As posted on IGN, there are also 10 side quests included in the update for Assassin's Creed Pirates.

The Assassin's Creed Pirates update also offers fresh defensive mechanics which allows the players to "destroy cannonballs mid-fire and provide access to new counterattack capabilities," according to Ubisoft

Furthermore, the update for Assassin's Creed Pirates for Android and IOS devices also brings in a new social feature, which enabled the players to see how they measured up against their friends.
