‘The Amazing Spiderman 2’ Cast Rumors - Jackal Is The Next Character Hinted In The Viral Blog; Mary Jane Watson Will Not Be In The Sequel Yet?

'The Amazing Spider Man 2' viral site has hinted on another new character that may be introduced in  the upcoming sequel. Meanwhile, Mary Jane Watson's debut may be pushed back to the next sequel.

Sony has really been busy with their expansion. Since they have already announced a Sinister Six movie, it is mandatory for them to develop at least six villains. There was already a reference of the possible return of the Lizard, now they refer to another villain.

Professor Miles Warren is known by comic fans to be the alter ego of the Jackal. He was already referenced in The Daily Bugle Tumblr:

"It's either a sign of the times or a sign of the apocalypse...

Manhattan's Empire State University announced a new class for the 2014 fall semester in advanced biogenetics that will actually require the successful cloning of a living creature. Introduction to Live Cloning, taught by noted geneticist Professor Miles Warren, is the first class of its kind anywhere in the world.

When asked about the ethical aspects of teaching a class on how to clone living cells, Warren said, "Our responsibility is to educate our students and prepare them for life. For those who study genetics or biology, cloning will be a fact of life."

The ethical aspects of cloning are irrelevant to Warren, who added, "We are cloning single-celled amoeba. Maybe one day we'll work our way up to mice. There is no ethical dilemma. Save your red flag for when I start cloning co-eds..."

Warren is quite formidable and dangerous. He is also very motivated. According to the Marvel Database:

"Warren fell in love with one of his students,Gwen Stacy, who was the girlfriend of Peter Parker. After Gwen was killed by the original Green Goblin, Warren turned his attention towards methods of cloning."

The current storyline is ripe for "The Night Gwen Stacy Died"story arc in the comics. However, Emma Stone is not an actress you want to lose at this point. Which brings us to the next news tidbit from I Am Rogue:

"When Shailene Woodley's few scenes as the rebooted Mary Jane Watson were cut from the sequel, we assumed it freed up some room for more between Peter and Gwen."

It must be noted that not all the hinted villains will be in costume for the TASM 2. Sony wants to emphasize character development to establish the audience's connection with the characters, whether it's admiration or contempt. It's possible that the Professor will be introduced in the movie, and if the sequel ends in Gwen Stacy's death, it could be the trigger for the madness.

"The Amazing Spider Man 2" will have all the answers-and probably start more questions on May 2, 2014 in the US.
