Bobbi Kristina Brown, the late Whitney Houston's only daughter, married his "brother" Nick Gordon in a secret ceremony, a family representative confirmed.

Brown also posted a photo on Twitter of both their hands wearing their wedding bands. Brown's ring was composed of two diamond-studded bands, while Gordon wore only a rust-colored band.

The photo also had the caption: "#HappilyMarried SO #InLove if you didn't get it the first time that is"

While the family rep confirmed that they were wed, Brown revealed that they haven't had a Church wedding yet but they have plans of doing so this year.

"Don't think 4 a sec that a ceremony isn't in store this year ...!? they're will be a wedding & a gorgeous1at that (: #nomoredetailstho!"

"Nothing is ever official until it's done under the eyes of god," she wrote.

According to the LA Times,  Brown and Gordon's relationship didn't sit well with their families and the public. While he was not officially adopted by Houston, he lived with the family when he was still 12 and watched Bobbi Kristina grow up.

For the teaser of the reality TV show, "The Houstons: On Our Own," both Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon announced their engagement to a friend but was called off a month later, presumably on the protests of the family. Thus, plans of Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon to marry did not push through then.

They were back together in July of 2013, however, said the Times.

"YES, we me nick are engaged. I'm tired of hearing people say 'eww your engaged to your brother' or 'if Whitney was still alive would we be together or would she approve of this,'" Brown wrote on her Facebook page.

The Daily Mail reported that on September 16 last year, Gordon tweeted that he upgraded the ring and added two bands on Brown's custom engagement ring.

This is the first time for both Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon to marry.
