Kesha's Eating Disorder Not Caused By Dr. Luke? Producer Finally Speaks Out And Blames Pop Star's Mother For Taking Advantage Of Rehab Situation

Kesha is one of the latest Hollywood stars who have been carried away by the pressures that come with the limelight. Kesha entering rehab for eating disorder was previously blamed to the pop star's music producer, Dr. Luke.

According to previous reports, Kesha entered rehab because Dr. Luke described her as a "refrigerator" because of her weight. Pebe Sebert, the 'Die Young' singer's mother, recently came out to confirm such claims.

"Dr. Luke had been telling her how she had to get in shape and lose weight and all this stuff. She was exercising and dieting and ultimately doing everything she could, but not getting thin fast enough. And that's when she first became bulimic," says Mrs. Sebert to People.

Mrs. Sebert also detailed how Mr. Luke reacted after Kesha went on detox: "After she went on a 14-day juice cleanse, he said, 'Thank God, you finally got rid of the weight! We've all been talking about it!' So she felt like she couldn't trust anyone."

While the singer-songwriter did not detail her eating disorder, she managed to inform her followers before checking in at Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center where Demi Lovato likewise stayed for treatment.

"I'll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder... to learn to love myself again. Exactly as I am," said the 'Your Love Is My Drug' hitmaker.

However, the record producer denied that he was the one responsible for Kesha's downfall:

"It is unfortunate that at a time Kesha is suffering immensely and trying to heal at a treatment center, her mother is taking this approach with the media. I give Kesha my utmost support and well wishes for a quick return to health," his statement claims.

Fans are hoping that Kesha will be able to recover the soonest.
