'X-Men: Days of Future Past' has gathered some of the best current actors. Michael Fassbender is fast becoming the 'it' guy of Hollywood and he also wants to make the most of it.

Based on the plot structure, Magneto is almost sure to return in "X-Men: Apocalypse," the sequel that Fox has already announced. He is still free to work on other projects, and joining another 'tentpole' franchise is not out of the question.

The latest "Star Wars" reboot is now in the Disney fold after it has acquired Lucasfilm. The Hollywood Reporter recently reported new plot spoilers and cast possibilities.

"Arndt (former screenwriter who left the project) is said to have focused on the offspring of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher), with the original trilogy heroes taking on supporting roles. Abrams, however, wanted Episode VII to focus on the classic trio of characters, so audiences could have one more chance to enjoy them before a fitting send-off. The new characters, the offspring, will now be in supporting roles, according to these sources, and take center stage in Episode VIII and IX. Some characters have disappeared from the Arndt script and new ones are being drafted." 

"The latest bit to surface this week is that Abrams and Lucasfilm are now searching for a 20-something female actress who is either of mixed race or black. The rumor is that Obi-Wan Kenobi had a daughter or granddaughter."

Abrams has set Hollywood ablaze when he took on the project. Because of his popularity, they believe that each and every actor who matters would want to be a part of his milestone project.

Abrams' wish list for the roles mentioned in the THR report: "According to sources, he met with Fassbender in December."

Fassbender is best known for his role as Magneto although he is a a strong candidate for Best  Supporting Actor for his role in "12 Years A Slave" but he is not keen on campaigning for the Award. He narrates in GQ:
"You know, I get it. Everybody's got to do their job. So you try and help and facilitate as best you can. But I won't put myself through that kind of situation again. It's just a grind. And I'm not a politician. I'm an actor."
