Upcoming Nokia Phones 2014: Android-Powered Nokia Normandy Keeps Breathing In New Rumor, Shows The Handset's Prototype Design

Of all the upcoming Nokia phones in 2014, probably one of the most anticipated is the Finnish manufacturer's first take on the Android platform.

Now, another leaked image allegedly shows the prototype frame of the Nokia Normandy, as it shows up with Nokia logo during startup.

As seen from the picture, the entire frame of the purported Nokia Normandy is covered with a casing so we cannot tell how it really looks like. Nevertheless, the single button at the bottom of the screen confirms that this is the same handset which came out in previous image leaks.

In case it is your first time hearing about the Nokia Normandy, it is rumored to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset, a 4-inch FWVGA screen, a 5-megapixel snapper at the back, and Android 4.4.1 KitKat out of the box.

In case the rumors pan out to be true, this will certainly answer questions whether Nokia made the wrong decision in making handsets which are exclusive to the Windows Phone platform.

On the other hand, this can also open new doors for the Finnish manufacturer, though the forthcoming buyout of Microsoft certainly makes the situation more complicated.
