The Sims 4 release date is expected to happen at some point around fall 2014.

EA announced last year that the Sims 4 release date is set for autumn season this year. Though the fans of the hit lifestyle simulation game will have to wait for several months first before getting their own copy of The Sims 4, many of them are already expressing their excitement via Twitter.

Furthermore, to prove that The Sims 4 is one of the highly-awaited games this year, the game is listed as the Most Anticipated Games of 2014, based on the votes from IGN Readers. For the Strategy/Sim/Tactics category, The Sims 4 ranked first as the most anticipated games, followed by "Total War: Arena" and then by "Tropica 5."

Months ahead of The Sims 4 release date, UK retailer, GAME, announced that the Collector's Edition of the upcoming game will be exclusively available from them in the UK region. The Sims 4 Collector's Edition will be priced at £84.99 (GBP) and will consist of the following, as posted on SimsVIP:
