Android 4.4 Kit Kat Release Date Draws Near For Carrier-Specific HTC One Handsets, See Which Versions Are Already Out

If you own an HTC One handset, you are probably waiting for the Android 4.4 Kit Kat release date for your phone. Fortunately, your wait could finally be over in the coming weeks. 

In a report by GSM Arena, HTC USA has disclosed information claiming that the latest version of Android has already been sent to US carriers which offer the current HTC flagship.

Carriers AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon have already received the latest update and are now in the process of certifying the update to its respective HTC One handsets. 

As you can see from the image, the Google Play Edition, the Developer edition, and the unlocked version of the HTC One have already received the update. It will just be a matter of time until the said carriers would be able to roll out the update to its subscribers. 

Meanwhile, the KitKat update for the HTC One max is still being 'integrated' at the moment, but we'll expect an update soon.
